Chad Milton, CPA, CVA, MBA

Chadwick J. Milton, CPA, CVA, MBA joined Bumpers & Company in January 2007.

Chad graduated with highest honors from Goldey-Beacom College with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance. He obtained his CPA in November 2009 and his Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) certification in January 2012. Due to his incredible hard work and dedication, Chad became a Partner of the firm in 2014.

 Chad is currently licensed with both the Maryland and Delaware Boards of Accountancy and sits on the Delaware Board of Accountancy where he has served as secretary and currently sits as the board chairperson. He is also a member of the AICPA, DSCPA, and the NACVA. 

Chad works with a wide variety of clients, providing tax, accounting, auditing, business valuation, and consulting services. 

Chad, born in Ancon, Panama, grew up in a military family and has lived in three different countries and four different states. He currently resides in New Castle County, with his wife and two children Owen and Olivia. 

Chad is a member of Rotary International and has served terms as both President and Treasurer for the North East Rotary Club and Treasurer for District 7630 on two separate occasions. Chad also established the firm’s “CPA Study Buddies” program where he sits as moderator and assists with studying and answering questions twice a week with staff sitting for the CPA exam and mentors them. 

Chad is fond of baseball and numismatics and in his spare time enjoys watching his kids participate in baseball, golf, soccer, volleyball, and fishing with his son.
